This is a live recording, produced jointly with the WDR broadcasting station in
Germany, of the concerts on Jewish liturgical music by Isaac and Jacques
Offenbach, based on material compiled, revised, and presented by Jacobo
Kaufmann, which took place respectively at the Cologne Synagogue and at
the “7th. Jacques Offenbach Festival“, at the Marble Hall of the Bad Ems
Casino, Germany, on the 28th. And 29th. May 1997.
